At Plend, we believe in fairer finance for all, which is why we’re proud to be part of the Fintech Pledge 2025 - an initiative designed to improve financial resilience across the UK. Since joining in January 2024, we’ve been working alongside a range of fintechs and charities to help consumers build better financial futures and access responsible financial solutions.

What is the Fintech Pledge 2025?

Launched by Zopa Bank and ClearScore, the Pledge is a collective effort to empower UK consumers with the tools and education needed to improve their financial well-being. The impact so far has been significant:

• 18 million actions completed by UK consumers
• 700,000+ savings accounts created
• £20 billion deposited into Pledge member savings accounts
• 57 members including fintechs, tech companies, and charities
• 5.7 million views on Pledge TikTok content
• 37,000 clicks to educational blogs from members
• 600 people supported through financial education workshops by The Money Charity

As a mission-driven lender, we’re committed to making fair and affordable lending accessible to those who have been excluded by traditional credit scoring systems. A vital part of this commitment is providing debt consolidation loans, helping people effectively manage their debts and regain financial stability. By participating in the Fintech Pledge, we’re reinforcing our dedication to financial inclusion and ensuring more people can make informed, responsible borrowing decisions.

Looking ahead

The Fintech Pledge 2025 is making remarkable progress - having already completed over 70% of its 25 million action target. But there’s still more to do, and we’re excited to continue driving change alongside this incredible community.
